FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What should I wear to gym?
A: Students are REQUIRED to wear athletic shoes during gym class, however students are not required to change into athletic clothing.
Q: What types of activities will we do during gym?
A: Students will be participating in a variety of activities such as team sports, physical fitness, cooperative learning activities, and more. For more detailed information please see the Semester II Calendar.
Q: What happen is I'm sick or injured?
A: In the case of an ill or injury, students are required to submit a parent/doctor notification to excuse their participation. If a student becomes ill or injured and a note is not submitted it is at the teacher's discretion to determine if a student is excused from participating. In addition, please notify the instructor of any prior health conditions or injuries (i.e. asthma, heart condition, etc.)

A: Students are graded based on participation, written assignments, and test. For more detailed information please see Grading Procedures.

A: Participation points are not given if a student is absent from class. Therefore, in the case of an absent students are to complete an assignment from the PE Makeup Worksheet. The assignment is due one week after the date of the absence.
